Reach for the light
This photo captures a hand reaching towards a bright light. The angle of the camera from the light, causes the hand to become a silhouette. The brightness was increased for the silhouette effect to be more effective. The saturation was increased for the light to have more of a yellow color instead of a plain white. The contrast was also increased for the light stands out from the roof, as they were both a bright color. The wall along with the rest of the arm were cropped out so it was only the hand and the light on the roof.

inner nature
This is a photo of a hand, resting in a house plant. The brightness was decreased in order for the dark parts within the plant to be fully blacked out. The saturation was decreased for the plant's red and green colors to be less distracting. The contrast was increased, to make the plant and the hand, appear with more depth. The depth is to show off the plant wrapped around the hand. Some stray branches of the house plant were cropped out. The hand was also kept to the left side of the 3 by 3 grid when the photo was taken.

Slow entrance
This photo captures a hand light grabbing the side of a door. The brightness was decreased, because the natural lighting was too bright when the photo was taken. The shadows were increased, so the shadow which was cast by the hand would stand out more. The saturation was decreased to make the photo more grey, instead of a bright yellow tint. The darker feeling fits the eerie and creepy feeling, the hand on the door gives off. For the hand to be the center of attention, the coats hanging on the back of the door, and the light switch on the wall, had to be cropped out of the picture.
