shine through
This picture captures two glasses positioned on the right side, in front of an open window. The light from the outside is hitting the two glasses, causing a patterned reflection to be seen on the counter. Brightness was lowered so the, very bright areas would stand out. Shadows were increased for the same reason. The saturation was lowered for the counters color, to be less vibrant against the clear glasses.

glass eyes
This photo captures two wine glasses, on a window ledge. The two glasses are position; one weighed on the left, and one on the right. Some of the contents of the ledge were cropped out. The brightness was lowered, and the shadows increased for the dark areas not lit up by the window would be much darker. This also caused the parts of the glasses in the dark areas to stand out more as the glass was reflecting from the light above.
